Safe House 2014 Update 05

First of all, allow me to apologise for the lateness of this update. My tardiness was, however, not without its benefits as I was able to get the subject of this particular update painted.

After a massive delay with the casting of Project Zeke Miniatures' latest sculpts, I had to find a new caster sharpish in order to get the minis ready for Safe House. Now, thanks to the fine people at Griffin Moulds I have lead in hand and here is an exclusive look at the first of four new sculpts coming out very soon.

Meet Bridges. This former Texas Ranger may be of advanced years but he still hasn't lost his edge. A natural leader and accomplished survivor, any group can count itself lucky to have Bridges at the helm. Bridges comes with his rifle as a separate piece so you can choose to equip him with any other weapon you may have in your arsenal.

Bridges will be my own primary survivor during Safe House (we will each have a small pool of heroes to draw from to prevent things from getting stale or for when the inevitable happens and they die).

Keep your eyes peeled for an "ultimate" version of Eddie and our mascot miniature, Zeke the smart zombie, who will be lurching his way towards you very soon! And as ever, take a trip to the Safe House JustGiving page if you dare.

    1. Thanks, mate. The shirt was a bit of a pain but there will be even more plaid paint jobs soon.

  3. I like him and the paint job really does him justice. I'm glad his weapon is a separate piece as I can just see him holding a pump-action shotgun.

  4. The painting is very nice indeed. Isn't his hat a little small, though?

    1. A bit late now if it is. Lol. Admittedly I'm not a perfectionist so it is possible that the scale is a little off. Whether sculpting or converting, however, I personally use the model's silhouette to determine whether or not it "looks" right. I wanted it to look like an old, crushed stetson like Michael Madsen wears in Kill Bill and I'm happy with the result.
